Tove Marika Jansson ( Swedish pronunciation: [ˈtuːve ˈjɑːnsːon] ⓘ; 9 August 1914 - 27 June 2001) was a Swedish-speaking Finnish author, novelist, painter, illustrator and comic strip author.
